mabutaが5月13日に2ndミニアルバム「A SUDDEN IMPACT」をリリースする。

mabutaがミニアルバムを発表するのは前作「THREE」以来、約1年ぶりのこと。新作にはライブ定番曲「Journey」を含む計6曲が収録される。YouTubeで公開された全曲ティザー映像には、レコーディング中の様子や1月31日に行われたツーマンライブ「吉祥寺WARP presents 『mabuta vs KOTORI～でっけェ～』」の模様が収められている。
